Where Is the Outcry From the Grass Roots Republicans?

As everyone is likely aware by now, the Republican National Committee has officially embraced the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning) agenda. According to FOX News, Ronna McDaniel, RNC Chairwoman, made it official at the Spirit of Lincoln Gala which was an event held by the Log Cabin Republicans, a self proclaimed conservative LGBTQ group. She promised to “partner” with them to “fight for our country’s future”.

Present also at the event were Donald and Melania Trump as well as numerous prominent Republicans. Melania Trump was the event’s guest of honor.

It’s no surprise that the Republican Party establishment leadership has such little regard for our national and state values and law (this behavior is still a punishable crime in most states), but what is surprising is that nothing is being heard from the grass roots Republicans. Do they not realize how far from the Republican Party Platform she has led the party? Below are a couple of excerpts from the Republican Platform.

1) Traditional marriage and family, based on marriage between one man and one woman, is the foundation for a free society and has for millennia been entrusted with rearing children and instilling cultural values. Pg 11.

It should be noted that the Republican Party, by resolution, is using the 2016 platform because of the inability to convene last year.

Have they forgotten that excessive government, that thing the Grass Roots abhors, is caused by immoral behavior such as they now embrace?  Are they simply not paying attention?  Are they just turning their heads for the sake of unity?  Unfortunately, many are stating they have just given up and will stop voting altogether.   Rather than considering a “third” party, they are just willing to quit!

Certainly principled and moral American’s must cease associating with the Republican party because of the abandonment of their platform, the constitutions and America’s values.  For the same reasons, Democrats should disassociate from the Democratic Party.  The US Taxpayers Party (Constitution Party) is the only nationally recognized political party that demands moral legislation from Government.  We not only print it in our platforms, we believe it and demand it of our candidates!

Have we earned your vote?  Your involvement?  Your financial contributions?  Certainly we have.  We can get you plugged in and making a real difference quickly.  If you want the  results you used to get, you have to do the things you used to do.

Poll Watching, Poll Challengers and Election Workers

What you need to know and how to get involved

With all the confusion surrounding the 2020 election words like poll watcher, poll challenger and election worker has been thrown around quite a bit. Understanding these terms and how you can become involved is crucial in keeping American voting fair, honest and out of the hands of those who try to usurp our freedoms. Below is a list of Election Day terms and what they mean.

1. Election Day Management: This is the team within a political party that oversees the groundwork during election day events and gets volunteers prepared for the day months ahead of time through education. They are there to help you if you run into any issues at the polling place or with any unanswered questions.

2. Poll Watcher: The extent of what a poll watcher can and cannot do is determined state to state. In many states poll watchers are appointed by the state party or candidate committee and must be registered voters of the state and county where they want to watch the election process. The poll watcher’s job is to make sure the election process is being carried out correctly and fairly. They keep account of voter turnout and may give these numbers to the party or candidate of which they are affiliated. They may also watch the canvassing board or any recount. The poll watcher is not to intimidate anyone at the polls, there can be no mention of candidates either verbally or physically and there can be no interruption of election processes by the poll watcher.

3. Poll Challenger: A poll challenger follows the same benefits and restrictions of a poll watcher, but they have been authorized by their party to challenge any vote that looks to be unqualified or questionable. The poll challenger must have a solid working knowledge of what is acceptable practices of poll workers and what is required of voters in their state. The challenge must be based on fact and not feeling.

 

4. Poll Worker: A poll worker are those people who work at the polls to assist voters on Election Day. Education is provided by the state and carried out by the County Clerk. There are usually an equal number of Republican and Democrat workers. There are certain things that election workers sign as a representative of the big two parties, the polling tape that comes out of the voting machine and the poll book are two of those things. Poll workers also make sure the votes are tallied correctly and secured for transport to the receiving and canvassing boards.

Out of the three Election Day positions, the Poll Worker has the most influence. They work intimately with the poll books, computers, and other workers. Please take the time to contact your township or city clerk to volunteer to become a poll worker.

Constitutional Representation…What Does that Look Like?

When representation is elected into any given office, the expectation is that the representative will uphold the US Constitution and fairly represent his or her constituents. We all grew up learning about the Constitution and how our Republic fits together in order to work like a well-oiled machine…or did we?

Reflecting back on high school lessons, it became clear that there were a great many holes in our knowledge base. For instance, did you know that US Senators are in place to represent the interests of the State as opposed to the interests of the people? Do you know why that is? It is a means of checks and balances. The Senators represent the interests of the state and the legislators represent the interests of the people.

What happens when the balance goes off-kilter? In today’s society, the evidence of off-kilter balance is more apparent now than ever. You have government officials passing Executive Orders that are functioning like legislation, bypassing the legislators altogether. Not only is the process unconstitutional, but many of the orders are unconstitutional as well.

Recently, the US Department of Treasury sent out applications to all townships across the country for Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. That sounds amazing doesn’t it? What a great way to recoup some of the losses from the economic impact of people not working for the last eighteen plus months. Right?

Many elected officials, your representation, filled out the application and submitted it for funds for their communities. While this would ordinarily be considered a great way to help a community, especially where economic decline is particularly poor, but one has only to read the fine print before the red flags appear.

The sheer volume of pages the signatory is signing their township up for would take an attorney hours, days even, to read through. Much of it is likely standard legal liability protection; however, without reading through it all, you do not know what you are actually legally binding your township to. For example, just in the application itself, the US Dept of Treasury requires recipients of the funds to abide by any executive orders. No date is given, just a broad general statement that all executive orders must be adhered to. Going back to the discussion on executive orders, we have already addressed the unconstitutional nature of their existence, as well as of some of the content contained within them.

In another bullet point of the application, the US Department of Treasury determined that in order to receive funding, the recipients must address seatbelts and texting and driving amongst those in their employ and any contractors. A fine idea, but it has nothing to do with the grant money.

These are just a few examples of what it contained in a two-page application. Can you imagine what all could be hiding in thousands of pages in multiple documents referenced in the application?

Mary Sears, the Township Supervisor of Houghton County, a US Taxpayers Party of Michigan/Constitution Party member elected to this office, saw through this deception and promptly turned down the funding, citing unconstitutional requirements and she was right to do so. When you elect representatives, you want them to uphold the constitution, which is exactly what the US Taxpayers Party of Michigan, the state affiliate of the Constitution Party does. Houghton County has been doing a wonderful job of representing their constituents constitutionally. When the schools followed unconstitutional executive orders, requiring students to wear masks, they started a charter school, and eighty students were promptly pulled from the public school. When the medical care facilities began following unconstitutional mandates and requiring a shot for COVID-19, Houghton County created a new medical clinic. THIS is what constitutional representation looks like. This is what you get when you elect a USTPM/Constitution Party Candidate. It is not easy. It is cumbersome, time-consuming, and a whole lot of work, but this is how we constitutionally represent our constituents.

We cannot do this alone. There must be solidarity and a driving fight to right the wrongs and constitutional injustices taking place. Let’s all lend a helping hand to our local county committees and get back to what this country was founded on, a Constitutional Republic.

Current Election System Failure

The problems we face with election fraud are many more than people first think.  It’s more than manipulated machines and voter ID.  The 2020 election, with no doubt many before it, was plagued by numerous occurrences, from clerks being misguided, to outright, illegal changes to election laws.  The 2020 election was a defining moment in the outlining of the manipulation.  There are 3 main areas that our election system struggles in, all of them playing a role separately and together, to give us the mess we are under now.

The first problem is the lack of officials to uphold their oath, to know the responsibility given to them and the duties it entails.  From poll workers to clerks, there are MANY that do not understand the basics of Michigan election law.  This leaves room for errors and mistakes to be made all along the way.  When workers do not know their duties under the law, it makes a breakdown of the system inevitable.  We as citizens must insist that the people in these positions can be trusted.

The second problem facing our elections is outright fraud.  This happens by changing laws and procedures through improper means, to making back door deals funded by specific people or groups.  Improperly handled election materials by officials, a lack of oversight, and election tabulating equipment not being properly monitored are the 3 main causes for actual fraud to impede our election system.  Not having the proper chain of command in place is also another part of this problem.The second problem facing our elections is outright fraud.  This happens by changing laws and procedures through improper means, to making back door deals funded by specific people or groups.  Improperly handled election materials by officials, a lack of oversight, and election tabulating equipment not being properly monitored are the 3 main causes for actual fraud to impede our election system.  Not having the proper chain of command in place is also another part of this problem.

The third and most prevalent problem is the uninformed voter.  This can be the most dangerous asset in the entire system.  A voter must know AND understand the duties and rights they have, both before and after their ballot has been cast.  Voters must also understand that they are not at the mercy of the system.  If we want anything to change in this broken system, it is up to us!  We have allowed the government to keep the government in check for far too long.  We have forgotten who our elected representatives must answer to.  Who put them there?  We did, and we can remove them just the same.  We need an informed people. THIS is how we combat voter fraud.  We The People must get back in the driver seat!

We have to realize and remember that we the citizens are the heart of our nation.  Without elections, voices will be silenced, and we will be cheated in more ways than one.  We have a right to vote, but we also have the responsibility to vote.  There’s a lot that comes with that responsibility.  It is up to us to make sure our elections are fortified and the voice of the people is heard and fair.  We must be diligent in upholding the true morals and values of our nation’s founding. We must protect our freedoms and our rights as Americans, guaranteed by our Constitution.
