2022 USTPM Campaign Committee Report

Following the results of the November 8th General Election in Michigan, we have good news, and we have bad news.

The bad news is that the USTPM placed sixteen candidates on the ballot, and all lost. Four additional candidates were rejected by the Bureau of Elections because of filing discrepancies, and were not even on the ballot. Of the eventual sixteen, another four also had discrepancies, but were retained by swift action of the Campaign Committee to resolve their issues.

The actual voting results are under review by election authorities. Several USTPM candidates find the results unbelievable and are not conceding defeat in their races. A case in point, at the top of the USTPM ticket, Donna Brandenburg, our candidate for Governor, had been the most formidable candidate of the Party in recent history. She out-spent and out-hustled the Party’s last three gubernatorial candidates, yet suspiciously mustered only a fraction of their total votes. Whether or not a sufficient amount of corrections are found to change the election results, justice must be served, and those who ever perpetrate fraud must be held accountable.

The good news is the USTPM has successfully maintained ballot access for the next election cycle. According to Michigan Compiled Laws (MCL) 168.560a, a political party’s principal candidate must receive at least one percent (1%) of the vote total of the winning Secretary of State candidate to maintain it. The 2022 SOS winner is Jocelyn Benson, with 2,467,859 votes, making the 1% threshold equal to 24,678 votes. And congratulations go to Mr. Joe Sanger, who is the USTPM top vote-getter at 71,506 votes!

Some may find this interesting. The horrendous ballot proposal (No. 3), titled Reproductive Freedom For All, solidified abortion as a constitutional right in Michigan, as well as removed parental controls over sexual and gender issues of their children in school. It passed by the vote total of 56.66% – could it be another mark of the beast?
